On May 24, the Forum on Building up China’s Cultural Strength 2024 continued at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. During the Sub-Forum on Cultural Strength and Development Opportunities of the Greater Bay Area (GBA), Huo Qigang, Chairman of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, expressed that Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao share a profound historical and cultural foundation. He emphasized the need to seize opportunities, leverage their advantages, and consolidate the cultural essence of the Greater Bay Area. Huo highlighted the importance of promoting deep exchanges and cooperation to ensure that the region's history, culture, and human spirit are passed down from generation to generation.
